What’s the first name that comes to mind when you hear “The Canyon”? Grand Canyon? Well, I must say, you should remember another canyon as well.

The Antelope Canyon of Arizona. With different shades of red, violet and yellow, this canyon of Arizona will surely leave you speechless. It is one of the sandstone slot canyons, situated near Page, Navajo Nation, Arizona. It is 120 feet  deep and 1000 feet wide.

This canyon has four portions – Upper Antelope Canyon, Lower Antelope Canyon, Flash Flood danger and Access road. Always be accompanied by a guide. Otherwise, you will be lost in the maze.

There are several ‘must visit’ places in Yellowstone National Park, but the most beautiful one is the Grand Prismatic Spring. This is the largest hot spring in the America. It has a blue center and every color of rainbow circling the edge. It is 160 feet deep and 300 feet wide. The colors of this spring come from the thermophilic pigmented bacteria.
