Welcoming the new year, the liquor enthusiasts of Uttar Pradesh got 50 lakh liters of alcohol on New Year's Eve. An Excise Department official said that this sale was registered on New Year's Eve. On the first day of 2019, information about the sale of liquor is being raised. Departmental data show that sales on liquor shops doubled almost on December 31. It does not include alcohol consumed by people in homes and hotels. On the eve of New Year 31 lakh liters of country liquor has also been sold.
