Ingredients:

  1. 2 medium Potatoes (approx. 1½ cups chopped)
  2. 1/2 cup Green Peas (fresh or frozen)
  3. 3/4 cup chopped Cauliflower (approx. 1/4 head of cauliflower)
  4. 1/2 cup chopped Carrot (approx. 1 medium)
  5. 1 large Onion, chopped (approx. 3/4 cup)
  6. 1 tablespoon Ginger Garlic Paste
  7. 2 medium Tomatoes, chopped (approx. 1¼ cup)
  8. 1/2 cup chopped Capsicum (approx. 1 small)
  9. 1½ teaspoons Red Chilli Powder (or less)
  10. 1/4 teaspoon Turmeric Powder
  11. 1 teaspoon Cumin-Coriander Powder, optional
  12. 1 teaspoon Readymade Pav Bhaji Masala Powder
  13. 1 teaspoon Lemon Juice
  14. Salt to taste
  15. 2 tablespoons Oil + 2 tablespoons Butter
  16. Butter for serving
  17. 2 tablespoons finely chopped Coriander Leaves
  18. 8 Pav Buns, for serving

How To Make Delicious Pav Bhaji At Home-

  • Take every one of the vegetables recorded in the fixings. Wash them in running water and cut them into little pieces.
  • Exchange cleaved potato, cauliflower, carrot and green peas into a 2-3 liter limit weight cooker. Include 1/2 glass water and salt to taste.
  • Close the weight cooker with a top and cook over medium fire for 2-whistles. Kill the fire. Open the top after weight discharges normally; it will take around 5-7 minutes.
  • Mash the bubbled vegetables delicately with potato masher or utilizing the posterior of an expansive spoon until minimal thick surface. You can squash cooked veggies into a surface you like – with little lumps or smooth without any pieces by any stretch of the imagination. The surface of your bhaji would rely upon how you pounded the veggies.
  • Warmth 2-tablespoons oil and 2-tablespoons margarine together in a skillet over medium fire. Include hacked onion and ginger-garlic glue. Sauté until onion turns translucent.
  • Add Chocked capsicum, cleaved tomato and salt.
  • Sauté until tomatoes and capsicum turn delicate. 
  • Include 1½ teaspoons red stew powder, 1/4 teaspoon turmeric powder, 1-teaspoon cumin-coriander powder and 1-teaspoon readymade pav bhaji masala powder.
  • Stir and cook for a minute.
  • Add 3/4 cup water, mix well and cook for 2-3 minutes.
  • Include bubbled and pounded vegetables and 1-teaspoon lemon juice. 
  • Mix well and cook for 4-5 minutes. Taste for the salt at this stage and include more whenever required. Kill the fire. Include slashed coriander leaves and blend well. Bhaji is prepared for serving. 
  • Cut the pav buns on a level plane into equal parts. Warmth tava over medium fire. Include a tablespoon of margarine and place split pav buns over it. Shallow sear the two sides until light darker spots show up, it will take around 30 seconds for each side to turn light dark colored. Exchange to the plate. Shallow sear remaining pavs. 
  • Exchange arranged bhaji to a serving bowl and trimming with a block of spread. Serve hot with margarine simmered pav, cut onion and lemon wedges.
