Priyanka Chopra's cousin Parineeti Chopra demanded this from 'jeeju' Nick Jonas for joota chhupai ceremony!

Vishal Chauhan, 04/12/2018

Just two days after Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas' wedding in Jodhpur, here's a scoop about what Priyanka's cousin and bridesmaid Parineeti Chopra demanded from her brother-in-law Nick for the joota chupai.

It's the season of weddings in Bollywood! Just after Bollywood power couple Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh tied the knot at Lake Como in Italy, superstars Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas got hitched at the picturesque city of Jodhpur.

The power couple got married in two ceremonies as a token of respect and admiration for each other's families. While they first got married in a Christian style wedding ceremony officiated by Nick's dad Paul Kevin Jonas senior, the following day they tied the knot in a traditional Indian-style wedding ceremony at Udaipur's Umaid Bhawan Palace. Even though Priyanka and Nick haven't shared photos from their wedding ceremonies yet, they have treated fans to moments from their sangeet ceremony and mehendi ceremony

A new detail has now surfaced on the internet from their wedding ceremony and it's sure to make you even more excited for their wedding photos. Parineeti Chopra, who is Priyanka's cousin and was also one of the bridesmaids at the lavish wedding, reportedly hid Nick's shoes as part of the traditional joota chupai ceremony and in return, demanded a whopping 5 lakh amount from her 'jeeju' Nick, reports DNA.

After Priyanka shared photos from the wedding festivities, Parineeti, too, took to social media and shared special moments on Instagram. While in one of the photos she revealed how Nick has promised to take care of Priyanka all his life, the other photo was about how the dance competition between Jonas and Chopras at sangeet ceremony was taken over by love, joy and the spirit of togetherness.

Godzilla King of the Monsters Movie Review: Loud Sound, Signifying Nothing.

By Vishal Chauhan - 31/05/2019

It is a travesty to waste Shakespeare on a film as soulless as Godzilla: King of Monsters but it was such a perfect fit, I couldn’t resist. Unlike the Bard’s classic Macbeth from where the line is borrowed, Godzilla’s latest inane iteration has enough sound and fury to fill up a dozen trashy films. The story, alas, can be written on a fortune cookie.

John Wick 3: "Keanu Reeves delivers the best action film since Mission Impossible Fallout."

By Vishal Chauhan - 28/05/2019

At an opportune moment in John Wick: Chapter 3—Parabellum, a deadly assassin confesses what an honour it is to fight Keanu Reeves’ John Wick before getting into combat mode again. Wick, supposedly the deadliest executioner, has come a long way since we saw him walk out of retirement in 2014. It was a time when his name was uttered in whispers, sometimes referred to as Baba Yaga, the enigmatic supernatural being from Russian folklore.

By Vishal Chauhan - 25/01/2019

Manikarnika movie review: Kangana Ranaut is glorious, and the film better than Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s carnivals. But the budgetary constrains show and the impact is Amar Chitra Katha. Rating: 3/5.
