A thick haze wrapped Delhi on Monday morning as a few flights to and from the national capital were postponed and 27 trains were running late, authorities said.

Delhi International Airport Limited (DIAL), which deals with the Indira Gandhi International Airport, said flights were arriving with the assistance of CAT III-B Instrument Landing System (ILS), which enables flights to arrive securely in low deceivability.

"Feline III B conditions were there around 5am and from that point forward it has been Cat 3 B… No preoccupations or undoing’s because of Delhi haze," an authority with DIAL said.

Railroads official said a few long-separate trains, including Puroshottam Express from Odisha's Puri to New Delhi and Brahmaputra Express from Dibrugarh, were a few hours late.
