Cyclone Gaja live updates | Nagapattinam bears the brunt; trains, flights diverted

The severe cyclonic storm made landfall between Nagapattinam andVedaranyam in the early hours of Friday.

Cyclone Gaja, whichturned into a severe cyclonic storm on Thursday, made landfall betweenNagapattinam and Vedaranyam in the early hours of Friday.

According to initialreports, the coastal areas of the district from Nagapattinam to Point Calimerebore the brunt of Gaja's wrath.
