‘Uri’ Enters in the Top 10 Highest Grossing Bollywood Films!

Vicky Kaushal starrer Uri: the Surgical Strike, which released in January, has become the 10th highest grossing Hindi film ever with a domestic net collection of Rs 244.06 crore at the box office.

This puts the film in the company of titles such as Padmaavat, Bajrangi Bhaaijan and Dhoom 3. Baahubali 2 remains the highest grosser in India, followed by Dangal and Sanju.

Uri earned Rs 70.94 crore in the first week since its release on 11 January and crossed Rs 150 crores by its third week.

The film is based on the retaliatory surgical strikes carried out by the Indian army in POK in 2016. It has been directed by Aditya Dhar and stars Vicky Kaushal, Yami Gautam, Paresh Rawal and Mohit Raina.
